Her work is also informed by her love of art history and inspired by her family and her travels with her husband, Michael, to Florence, Rome, France, Monet’s studio and the gardens at Giverny, to name a few. Ellen states, “Through the use of color value, I strive for living quality, weight, density, motion and space balance. I try to show the moment that form appears and is shaped by color.” This exhibition is sponsored by Ellen’s brothers, J. Lawrence and John and their families. Over 30 paintings will be on display in the galleries.
Join us for the Artist Reception on Third Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 6–8pm. Meet Ellen and enjoy her colorful take on the world. Wine, beverages and light fare will be served and all receptions and exhibitions are free and open to the public.
